Sister Offices Abroad
The charity worked alongside sister organisations in the United States, Hong Kong, Germany and the Netherlands.
From the archive. Around 1998 to 2001 this web address carried the website of a small UK relief charity. This page keeps one of its items as a historical record. Relief Weekly, which publishes the site today, is an independent magazine with no connection to that charity; its name, the names of its staff and supporters, addresses, telephone numbers, registration details and donation forms have been removed, and lost pictures have been replaced with credited photographs of the places concerned. Nothing here is a current appeal.

This page listed the charity’s international colleagues: its founding organisation in California, and sister organisations in Hong Kong, in Bonn in Germany and in Amsterdam in the Netherlands, each working under its own name in its own language. The addresses and telephone numbers are long out of date and have been removed.
Networks like this were common among relief charities: a shared cause, separately registered bodies in each country, and supplies or funds pooled for particular appeals. How the larger humanitarian system fits together today is explained in which UN agency does what.
